Eva Nalubowa is the Managing Partner at JRK Advisory Limited and a Corporate Finance and Tax Lawyer with extensive experience in financial analysis, investment advisory, capital structuring, and strategic business advisory.

She has advised businesses, investors, and institutions on a wide range of matters, including financial modelling and valuation, capital raising, tax planning, restructuring, and regulatory compliance. Her dual legal and financial background enables her to provide integrated advice that addresses both commercial objectives and legal risk.

Eva is particularly skilled in translating complex financial and legal concepts into practical, actionable strategies that support growth, improve performance, and enhance decision-making. She brings a strong analytical approach combined with a deep understanding of business realities across multiple sectors.

In addition to advisory work, Eva is actively involved in professional training and capacity-building through JRK Academy, delivering programmes in financial analysis, investment readiness, and strategic finance.

She is committed to supporting businesses and institutions in building resilient, compliant, and growth-oriented operations.

Before her role at MBO Partners, Eva served as a Legal and Tax Associate at KPMG in Kampala, Uganda. There, she provided invaluable advice on Uganda’s investment landscape, prepared transfer pricing reports, conducted financial data analysis, and represented clients before tax authorities. Her role also involved offering corporate governance advice and conducting comprehensive tax and legal due diligence analyses.

Eva’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Law from Uganda Christian University-

and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala.

She has also been a Law Tutor at Uganda Christian University, where she imparted knowledge on subjects like revenue law, taxation, and international trade.

Her commitment to professional growth is evident from her numerous publications on topics ranging from biogas research funding to ESG disclosure requirements for investment advisers.  Eva is also an active member of the East Africa Law Society’s

 Banking and Finance Committee and has volunteered as a financial guide and community engagement specialist.
